Everything begins with something small – a seed – often times a seed of hope. I remember back almost
20 years ago now when I began to do the work that led to my awakenings. There was someone talking
like he knew what it was like to be down, out and completely hopeless like I was. I’d heard people say
the right words before, but this was different, there was something intangible that I couldn’t place, a
feeling that perhaps, this man had once been where I was now, which was mentally and emotionally
bankrupt. He spoke of hope, he said that I didn’t have to live the way I was living anymore and that
there was another way. He swore to me with all the conviction he had that there was happiness to have
and that I co...

In my previous blog entitled: Perfectionism and The Need to Be Right, I discussed how there is an
unconscious and unhealthy need to be right in the world. This is causing much controversy and keeping
existing problems flourishing without the hope of solution. As long as we are each trying to prove how
right our side is, we will never meet underneath where our commonality connects and solutions are

Now to expand on the solution.

Underneath all the arguing we all want the same things. We want to feel safe, be loved, have the
freedom to live in the way we feel is right with an opportunity to chase our dreams. This is where we
must meet, on common ground, then we can walk towards a solution with the same goa...

Perfectionism is more common than we may think. Of course, we see it in obvious ways such as extreme
pressure to complete a task perfectly, getting perfect grades, going above and beyond in work situations
and countless OCD behaviors. There are also more covert ways of being a perfectionist that come out in
our interactions with others. Many do their best to be “right” in situations, conversations and arguments
to the point of perfectionism.

You can see in many conversations the need to be right is of primary focus. This is why the dynamic of
most conversations consist of an attack and defend structure, even if it’s not an argument. Most often
people aren’t trying to understand what the person is saying. They...

The majority of people in the world are experiencing a level of uncomfortability that is undeniable. Most
people are unsatisfied with their lives and searching for answers. Many are suppressing this
uncomfortability with alcohol, legal and illegal drugs, shopping, complaining, unhealthy relationships,
etc. There are also many people actively seeking a new way of living that is more fulfilling and joyful.
This is where life coaching comes in. Life coaching can help shift perspectives and thereby walk people
towards the happiness and fulfillment they are seeking.

So, how do you choose the right life coach? It’s easier than you think. There is so much free information
out there like podcasts, blogs, and videos yo...

So, you’ve accomplished some wonderful things in your life and arrived at a place you’ve been walking
towards. Perhaps you started a business, bought a house, started a family, changed careers, etc., etc., so
now what? Most likely it’s time to level-up.

Where you are is based on the types of abilities and qualities you embodied in your past. Many of these
qualities are wonderful and will continue to serve you moving forward. Also, some of these qualities will
no longer serve you and need to be released and replaced by others in order to continue moving
forward. There is always growth to be had and the opening to that growth is a truly enjoyable

I’ll give you an example of my own leveling-up to hel...

Non-movement = depression. This is a simple formula that holds much insight and Truth. You see
depression is a form of hopelessness. When you feel hopeless about things getting better is when
depression comes. The mind has to support the diagnosis of hopelessness by attaching to evidence such
as things going wrong in the past which implies, they will continue to go wrong in the future. With an
unending loop like this to feed on, the egoic mind never runs out of fuel and spirals into depression.
The non-movement I mentioned is what starts the thought process in motion. If you don’t like your life
most likely you begin to try to change it. Many times, people don’t know how to accomplish this which is
why they ar...
